Toshi Onuki
Freelance Art Director/Creative Director
Toshi Onuki is a multidisciplinary Art Director with extensive experience in video/film production and the creation of small and large platforms, including web, mobile, and various new technologies. He studied Oil Painting at Shinjuku Art Institute and Tokyo Metropolitan Art High School before earning a BFA in New Genre (Performance and Video) at the San Francisco Art Institute. Toshi's expertise includes conceptualization, visualization, typography, and production design from concept to finalization. He has worked as an Art Director at Shakey Pictures, PONO, and MX Production Services, as a Freelance Art Director at Watchwith and Vertigo Software, and as a Creative Director at Total Media Group. Toshi was also a former Guest Artist at San Francisco Art Institute and Freelance Online Editor at Bay Area Video Coalition. His passion for finding creative and simple solutions ensures his success in challenging projects. Toshi is the Owner of Toshi Onuki Studio, where he continues his work as a Visual Artist.
