Torstein Solberg

Torstein Solberg is a dedicated individual with a diverse educational background and a strong passion for volunteer and political work, particularly focusing on international solidarity, local politics, and culture.

He completed his secondary education at Stavanger Katedralskole, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Art and Culture Science from the University of Stavanger. He also pursued a Master's degree in Culture, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of Oslo.

Torstein Solberg has a wealth of experience in various organizational roles, having served as a Member of Parliament at Stortinget and in positions such as Political Advisor to the Minister at Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet, Media Analyst at Intermedium, Political advisor during the 2011 Election Campaign at Arbeiderpartiet, among others.

His involvement extends to local politics where he held roles such as Nestleder i Stavanger Arbeiderparti, Formannskapsmedlem, and Nestleder Kommunalstyret for miljø og utbygging at Stavanger kommune. Torstein Solberg also contributed on an international level as the International Secretary at Norwegian Labour Youth.
