Goodmill Systems provides critical connectivity for situations where you simply need to be always online even while on the move. Our solutions are aimed at two use cases:
1. Tactical communications of public safety authorities from ambulance helicopters to police cars to defense.
2. Unmanned systems in various industries from autonomous cars to remotely operated mining equipment.
The products and services are delivered globally with largest customers in Europe and Asia.

At the onset of the pandemic, managed the refinance more than half of the balance sheet. From there on got back on the growth track and expanded especially exports with overarching majority of the business from eventually coming from overseas. Achieved a key position in the Finnish and to an extent even European 5G and 6G research landscape by participating in more than ten joint research efforts.

Goodmill Systems Ltd.

Creating new business for Nordcloud higher up in the value chain by solving business challenges with solutions around applications, data, design and AI. Acquired three new customers for the company and opened a new geographical market.

Business Development Executive

Responsible for a business unit with more than half of Nordcloud's business including managed infrastructure and application services and capacity services. 

Created the new business unit grouping three distinct delivery organizations and later reorganized to combine also the R&D unit for a total of 60 persons. The new agile operating model with autonomous squads was likely unique in the world for providing managed services to external customers. Created new services around data platforms, API management, integrations and virtual network appliances. Started a SaaS business by licensing our tool set to customers. Our position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Professional and Managed Services skyrocketed. Achieved a year on year revenue growth of 77%.

Senior Vice President, Managed Cloud

Responsible for setting up the solutions business including design, development and data to all our existing and to be opened countries besides Finland by hiring local experts, finding local customers and running the business in its initial stages with P&L responsibility. Existing countries included Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Netherlands and United Kingdom. Member of the group's core leadership team. 

In less than half a year, roughly fifth of the workforce and revenue was outside of Finland.

Vice President, Business Expansion

Revolutionary multi-channel router solutions that enable outstanding broadband connectivity. Ensure constant data flow in demanding conditions where 24/7 connectivity is critical.

We managed to double our revenue during my first full fiscal year.

Member of the Board

Responsible for the revenue side of the business at Nordcloud Solutions Ltd. (formerly SC5 Online Ltd.) including our design studio Intergalactico. 

Helped Europe's largest enterprises and hottest startups with leading software design and development services employing cutting edge serverless cloud application and machine learning (AI) technologies. 

More than doubled the performance of the sales on every metric. Designed the international sales and delivery models for our eight operating countries. Implementation included having the Swedish team report to me. Acted as the head of delivery during a colleague's parental leave.

Vice President, Sales

Lumituuli produces and sells wind power, is looking actively for new development projects and investment possibilities in the area and has obtained financing as the largest crowdfunding project in Finland. 

Continued the crowdfunding strategy by a successful public share offering in October 2016 and an oversubscribed million euro debt issue in April 2018.  Stepped down after three years to make room for board renewal.

Lumituuli Oy

Business responsibility for productivity services until May 2016 including support services, unified communication & collaboration and end user facing SaaS applications. Owner for Elisa's full IT outsourcing concept. 

Achieved highest leadership scores in the employee survey of Elisa's corporate customers division with 130 supervisors evaluated and major new business and continuation deals in all business areas. These propelled the business' CAGR to more than 5 times the market growth. Elisa elevated into a new category in the unified communications & collaboration market. Divested the multifunction printer and services business with 13 employees.

From February 2016 business responsibility for growing a new business area in application outsourcing. Established business was handed back to normal operations for 2017 with several of the acquired customers bringing in revenues of hundreds of thousands of euros each.

Latest responsibility is the sales and marketing at Business IT -unit selling and producing for example application development and outsourcing as well as services for enterprise integration, SharePoint, Power BI and Dynamics 365. Supervisor to team of managing consultants for these service areas. Transformed the team into a new way of selling with a new CRM system, new metrics and a new role in utilizing the whole corporation. Exceeded the quota of H1/2017 with contract value results approximately 66 % higher compared to 2016.

Head of the Business Development function of Itella Mail Communications business group with revenues of 1,17 billion euro and 20.000 persons operating in three countries across several industries. Responsibilities include the strategic development and strategy process, management system, development project portfolio, environmental and sustainability management of the business group as well as business intelligence support for the whole corporation. Member of the business group's management team. Reorganized the unit with successful personnel negotiations. Set-up project portfolio management with new tools and a program management office (PMO). Redefined the business group's strategy.

During the period from February to May 2013 managed the corporate wide ICT outsourcing program. Scope includes over 100 persons in seven countries with over 200 applications and 1500 servers. Managed to close the negotiations on target schedule and business case and set-up the program structure, tools and processes for the transition.

Vice President, Business Development

Head of the Marketing Materials unit. Responsible for the business as well as the production organization with over a hundred employees. Improved the operating margin forecast for the year by 50% even before restructurings. Built a new management system for the unit with defined key processes, strategic and operating plans, roles and KPIs. Divested a part of the business.

In the preceding P&L responsible positions, I was globally responsible for services including target groups e.g. list management, analytics, printing, mailing and delivery. Key accomplishments:
- Head of a steering group for the project that developed a completely new version of a marketing service portal (SaaS)
- Developed a key set of principles for reselling contracts in the delivery business
- Implemented a service design and pricing change with associated IT system changes to enable self-service product and pricing configurations online
- Developed a method and tools for price change modeling and simulations, which were utilized for the service design of the delivery product portfolio with revenues around half a billion
- Negotiated several deals with key customers for millions of net worth each also on the Nordic level and all subcontracting deals with our suppliers for more competitive price levels

Managing projects ranging in size from a few dozen to thousands of man-hours and in content from setting up ICT operations management services to sales cases to internal development work.
