Tonya Decker

Tonya Decker is the Managing Director of Real Estate at Greystar, where she oversees the Property Management Services for the Southern California region. With over 28 years of experience in the multifamily industry, she has developed a robust background in operations and asset management, particularly within California. Her responsibilities include managing third-party assets, which encompass more than 41,000 multifamily units and 600,000 square feet of retail space.1

Before joining Greystar, Tonya served as the Senior Vice President of Southern California at Alliance Residential. In that role, she was instrumental in leading significant developments and contributed to the company's strategic initiatives and policies. She is also an active member of the California Apartment Association of Los Angeles and holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.1

Tonya's educational background includes studying abroad at Oxford University and Heidelberg University, further enhancing her expertise in real estate management.1
