Mr. Underwood served as the Executive Vice-President of Client Services for FDI Collateral Management, Inc a Sacramento, CA based company providing electronically enabled collateral management services to financial institutions throughout North America.   In this role Mr. Underwood worked through multiple aspects of the entire automotive lifecycle from manufacturing and financing to repossession and end of term processing.

Mr. Underwood held a number of roles with FDI Collateral Management, Inc. since it’s founding.  He is the co-founder of the original partnership, which ultimately led to the formation of FDI Collateral Management.  With over 20 years Technology experience, Mr. Underwood has been successful at helping to navigate a small start-up company, through the initial merger and acquisition process culminating with a profitable business which serves over 2000 of the nations largest financing institutions and houses over $500 billion in portfolio assets.

Executive Vice-President and CIO, FDI Collateral Management, Inc. - As EVP and CIO Mr. Underwood has oversight and P&L responsibilities for the technology infrastructure which serves the nation’s largest vehicle title administration company.  The infrastructure supports a distributed web-based application which serves over 30,000 end-users, 400 employees, and over 10 million web transactions monthly.  Mr. Underwood led the effort to define and set the technology direction for the next generation software required for scalability and growth of the burgeoning business volumes.
