Tony Stais

Tony Stais is the Managing Director at TWP Private Wealth Management, a division of Stifel Financial Corp. He has a robust career in the investment industry, beginning in 1987. Stais joined Thomas Weisel Partners (TWP) in 2001 and became part of Stifel following its acquisition of TWP in 2010. His extensive experience includes running several Wall Street trading desks prior to his current role, which allows him to bring significant risk management skills and knowledge of equities and derivatives markets to his clients.12

Stais focuses on a comprehensive approach to investment planning, emphasizing the importance of tax and trust issues while aiming for risk-adjusted, after-tax returns. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College and possesses various securities licenses, including Series 3, 7, 24, and 63. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is actively involved in community service as a member of the board of trustees for Marin Academy and has previously served on the President’s Committee at Bowdoin College.12
