Tony Kao is the Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer at SECOR Asset Management, LP, where he has over 40 years of experience in the investment management industry. Before joining SECOR, he served as the Chief Investment Officer at General Motors Asset Management, managing a substantial portfolio of $130 billion in global employee benefit plans for General Motors and its affiliates.
In addition to his executive role, Kao is actively involved in the academic side of finance; he serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Investment Management and the Journal of Investment Consulting, and has published numerous articles in various finance journals and books.
