Tony Huang is a leading figure in the world of international venture investment and business development with over 25 years of experience in the field. Based in Silicon Valley and APAC, he has an impressive track record in venture capital and entrepreneurial ecosystems as an investment professional, angel investor, and trusted advisor. Huang has completed over $300 million in venture debt financing to over 200 technology companies and invested in 30 startups and 25 venture capital funds.
During his career, Huang has established extensive networks among venture capital firms, limited partnership firms, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and service providers across the Pacific. He has made several successful investments in market-leading companies' early stages, including Fortinet, PayPal, Marvell, PowerSet (acquired by Microsoft), Silicon Motion, SMIC, TransMedia (acquired by Cisco), BCDsemi, Carbonite, Quixey, Wallaby Financial, Coffee Meets Bagel, Bounce.io, Kloudless, Blossom, Synthego.
Huang's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - Finance from San Jose State University and an MBA in Finance from California State University - East Bay. He is also the co-founder and managing partner of KISO Capital and has held venture partner positions at Genesis Alternative Ventures, Techlink Ventures, and WI Harper Group. Additionally, he has served as Vice President at NXT Capital, Vice President of Corporate Development at Asante Technologies, and Director of International Venture Capital & Strategic Alliances at SVB Financial Group.
