Tommy Roark

Tommy Roark is a co-founder and the creative director at Experience Media Studios, a company based in San Diego, California. He has built a reputation as an accomplished filmmaker, photographer, and FAA-licensed drone pilot. Roark specializes in creating compelling visual content for outdoor, adventure, and lifestyle brands. His work spans various industries, including nightlife and sports, where he has collaborated with notable brands such as Red Bull, Versace, and the San Diego Padres.13

Roark's journey in media began with a passion for nightlife photography and videography, influenced by his admiration for electronic dance music (EDM) culture. He partnered with Austin Jose to establish Experience Media Studios after successfully merging their client bases. Together, they tackle larger commercial projects and travel extensively for their work.12

Currently, Roark is focused on his first full-length film titled "Ode to the North," which follows professional surfer Eimeo Czermak during a winter season on the North Shore of Oahu. This project reflects his commitment to storytelling through visual media and highlights his deep connection to the surf community.1
