Tommy Bay is a seasoned technology-minded problem-solver with over a decade of experience in designing and building interfaces and experiences.

With a versatile background transitioning from Marketing to Front-end Development to Product Design, Tommy has found his passion in Product and User Experience Design.

Currently, he serves as a User Experience Designer at WCF Insurance, where he leads a team of designers in creating intuitive and consistent web app experiences for customers and users.

In addition to his professional role, Tommy has launched the Skilled by Design Podcast, focusing on highlighting and exploring key soft skills and their practical applications.

His expertise includes communication, collaboration, design systems, high-fidelity designs, HTML/CSS, as well as the ability to build bridges between concepts and people.

Tommy has a diverse educational background with studies at Alta High, University of Utah, and Salt Lake Community College, along with certificates in General Studies and Integrated Marketing Communication.

Throughout his career, Tommy has held various roles such as User Experience Manager, Senior UX Designer, Consultant, Practice Lead, Product Designer, and Team Lead at organizations like WCF Insurance, Software Technology Group, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and more.

His professional journey includes experiences in marketing, design, communication, and leadership, showcasing his broad skill set across different industries and sectors.
