Tommi Rissanen

Tommi Rissanen is a knowledgeable and experienced senior expert at LUT School of Business and Management, a digital media consultant, and a distinguished researcher in the field of economics and business administration. With a deep understanding of emerging technologies, digital business models, ecosystems, and platform business, he brings a wealth of expertise to his work. He earned his Doctor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from LUT University and his Master of Business Administration in Economics from Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Throughout his career, Tommi has held various positions and worked for many reputable organizations. He was a Business Designer at DMF Business Design, a Junior Researcher at LUT School of Business and Management, VP Business Development at Dicole, Programme Director at Culminatum Ltd. Oy Helsinki Region Centre of Expertise, Management Consultant at Digital Media Finland, Project Manager at Technology Centre Hermia Ltd., Project Manager at eBRC/University of Tampere, Producer at MindTrek Association, Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, and CEO, owner at Henkilöstöpalvelu Antero Oy.

Tommi is a specialist in digital content, open source, business models, startup strategies, economics, and digital ecosystems. He is currently building collaborative projects with LUT School of Business and Management and companies and has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation, "Perspectives on business model experimentation in internationalizing high-tech companies."
