Endeavor Mentors is a group comprised of business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and academics. In this role I support Irish and European entrepreneurs through one on one mentorship leveraging my knowledge and experience in accelerating business growth internationally through partnership strategies.

Mentor - Partnership Strategies

Omio is a leading ground transportation OTA (online travel agent) enabling travellers to easily search and book travel options. I led one of the three Omio businesses (Partnerships / B2B) across including Commercial and R&D efforts with P&L ownership.

 - Developed and executed overall Partnership Strategy anchored to a three pronged solution portfolio (ie. Search Solutions, White Label, Booking API). Key partners included Uber, Google, MSFT, Rome2Rio, Kayak, LNER and more 

 - Doubled size of business year on year (2022/2023) and set foundations for doubling again in 2024

 - Redefined the organisational design to optimise for GTM processes with the goal of driving clearer internal alignment, account mapping and accountability between commercial, product and engineering teams

 - Up-levelled the team processes and operations by implementing team governance and processes (OKR setting, team summits, deal overviews and approval processes, RAPID decision making framework)

VP and Head of Partnerships

Member of the EMEA and Latam leadership team with focus on the EMEA region at a time when it showed strongest impact potential and overtook the US in overall member reach.

 - Grew and led the EMEA and LatAm Business Development team with strong collaboration with peers in HQ and regional key stakeholders

 - Defined and executed regional partner strategies across the LinkedIn portfolio of businesses (Talent Solutions, Marketing Solutions, Learning Solutions and Consumer), that influenced over 30% of total annual regional revenue and drove over 3% growth in member annualised sessions (FY21)

 - Oversaw and championed the incubation and launch of innovative and first-in-kind partnership programs (e.g. University accredited learning partnerships, Trade events partnerships, Student referral program) and the roll-out of the Stories product (global-first product initiative) by partnering with 75+ regional publishers

 - Raised LinkedIn Learning brand awareness by enabling the viewing of LinkedIn Learning videos by 100’s of thousands of flight and train passengers through distribution partnerships with leading airlines (e.g. Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Cathay, AerLingus, Eurostar trains)

Senior Director and Head of Partnerships for EMEA and LatAm

Responsible for leading all non-NAmer BD activities with the goal of accelerating LinkedIn’s growth outside of the US and in particular in less mature but high potential markets.

 - Built the International BD team and operating model with strong hires in India, UK, Germany, Brazil, Australia, China and Japan

 - Supported LinkedIn’s vision of connecting members to economic opportunity by overseeing partnerships that led to 10x growth of job postings on the platform (+70% partner job applications), 4x increase of Company Pages in target markets, 1%+ site-wide sessions growth in Germany, launch of MVP LinkedIn Event program across 204 partners

 - Drove 70% of LinkedIn China’s member growth through first-of-kind Linkedin identity integrations with leading platforms such as WeChat, Alipay (Sesame Credit), JD Finance, Huawei and DidiTaxi

 - Supported LinkedIn product-market-fit by closing partnerships with business card scanning tech providers as well as with leading Japanese publishers (e.g. Newspix, Nikkei and Y! Japan) to create a more locally relevant social feed

Senior Director and Head of International Partnerships

First APAC BD lead responsible as an IC to plan and execute partnership initiatives and programs across the region with the goals of driving user engagement on the platform as well as new user acquisition.

 - Pioneered the Job Liquidity program with the goal of driving job seeker engagement by closing and managing partnerships with leading job-boards and job wrapping platforms that tripled the number of job posts in India

 - Launched mobile partnerships for LinkedIn preloading, zero-rating and co-marketing across India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines

 - Spearheaded the LinkedIn Influencer program in the region and signed seven key high profile industry leaders

Director and Head of APAC Partnerships

Led the regional partnership team with the goals of: a) maximising engagement of Yahoo! products through distribution deals and b) building out the portal portfolio by developing vertical partnerships.

 - Built and led the Business Development team across key Southeast Asia markets and India.

 - Defined and oversaw all development and execution of partnership strategies with leading media publishers and broadcasters (syndication, distribution and platform partnerships), mobile ecosystem players (telcos, OEM, ODM) and classified businesses.

 - Directly led  highly strategic and first of kind partnerships with leading global chipset manufacturer (Mediatek) for the distribution of Y! products and services at scale, as well with leading Philippine broadcaster ABS-CBN for Y! to be their main digital platform

Senior Director and Head of Partnerships (India and Southeast Asia)

Pioneered the growth of Y! mobile and broadband business across Australia and New Zealand.

 - Executed and managed highly strategic and exclusive search distribution partnerships with Telstra (Sensis) and exclusive advertising re-seller partnership with 3 Australia

 - Managed and expanded multimillion platform distribution and marketing alliance with Telecom NZ with Y! as their main portal and value added services provider for their broadband and mobile customers 

 - Led distribution initiatives for Y!’s mobile products (Messenger, Mail, VAS etc) across local telcos and OEMs

Head of Mobile and Broadband Partnerships

Co-led BD efforts within the highly disruptive digital content peer-to-peer platform.

 - Led content licensing partnerships with indie record labels and film production companies

 - Managed relationships with key adware partners

Business Development Manager (Partnerships)

- Managed the multi-million marketing partnership between Bertelsmann and AOL Time Warner across Europe and the US.

 - Coordinated and developed high profile campaigns on AOL Time Warner on behalf of and in collaboration with Bertelsmann subsidiaries (incl. Random House, BMG Records, Gruner + Jahr, Bertelsnman book clubs)

I joined Whittards after their acquisition of bestofbritish.com. Directly managed all marketing and partnership initiatives for bestofbritish.com and whittard.co.uk

Whittard of Chelsea

Digital Marketing and Business Development Manager

Managed strategic marketing partnerships with leading e-commerce platforms (e.g. Expedia and Amazon) with the goal of supporting their UK expansion. Led all commercial initiatives and P&L ownership of bestofbritish.com until it was acquired by Whittard of Chelsea.
