Tom Worthington
Certified Computer Professional and Educator
Tom Worthington is an independent computer professional and educational design consultant, currently serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing at the Australian National University (ANU). He specializes in various fields including IT policy, e-learning, and ICT sustainability. Worthington has been recognized for his contributions to ICT education, receiving the national gold Digital Disruptors Award in 2015 and being named Canberra ICT Educator of the Year in 2010.
He holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Open, Digital, and Distance Education from Athabasca University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from ANU. Additionally, he is a Certified Professional member of the Australian Computer Society and has been involved in IT policy development for the Australian Government. His work includes designing online courses and supervising students in the realm of ICT sustainability.1
