Tom Wills is an individual who is deeply committed to helping others and finding value in what is often overlooked or abandoned.
He has dedicated his efforts towards working with the homeless and formerly homeless individuals, assisting them in securing meaningful employment and establishing connections within the community through The Contributor street paper.
In addition to his work in social services, Tom is also an accomplished artist, known for his creations that explore abandoned landscapes and spaces.
He has transformed a half-abandoned church into an artists-in-residency collective and has played a significant role in revitalizing and preserving institutions like The Belcourt Theatre.
Tom Wills is a dedicated collector with a particular focus on 16MM Film and data, which he incorporates into his work at The Contributor to enhance efficiency and convey the compelling narratives of the vendors he supports.
His educational background includes studies at The Greenwood School and a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in English Language and Literature, along with Fine Arts, from Centre College.
Throughout his career, Tom has been associated with various organizations, such as Early Bird Films where he is a business owner, The Contributor, Inc. where he served as the Co-Founder and Director of Vending, Belcourt Theatre as a Co-Founder and Board Member, The Downtown Presbyterian Church where he founded the Arts in Residency Program, and Tom Wills Fine Artist where he was the owner.
