Tom Williams

Tom Williams is the founder of Desert Island Survival, an organization that leads expeditions to stunning uninhabited tropical islands, teaching bushcraft survival skills to solo travelers and private groups before they embark on a castaway adventure with minimal resources. Tom believes that being marooned on a desert island offers immersion in untouched nature, a digital detox experience, development of empowerment through learning survival skills, and gaining valuable perspective.

Desert Island Survival's expeditions are currently held in Panama, Tonga, and the Philippines, offering participants a unique and adventurous experience. Outside of his work in island survival, Tom is passionate about environmental preservation, personal development, fitness, and cryptocurrency.

Tom Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of the West of England. He also attended Portsmouth Grammar School and the Chartered Insurance Institute. Throughout his career, Tom has held various roles, including Founder & CEO at Desert Island Survival, participant in the Polar Challenge's Raced to North Pole event, International Wealth Manager at CI Associates in Santiago, Chile, Identity Management Sales Specialist at Quest Software, and Sales Associate at Quest Software.
