KAL Group is part of the Gowan Group and markets a wide range of home appliances, electronics, and B2B professional digital display products in Ireland and through its subsidiary AB Distributors in Northern Ireland and the UK.  KAL & AB distribute well known family brands including AGA, Bauknecht, Breville, De Dietrich, Elica, Franke, Haier, iiyama, LG Appliances, Neff, NordMende, Sharp and Whirlpool. In my role at KAL I am responsible for driving market share and building brand equity for the brands the company owns and represents in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. I manage business intelligence, above and below the line marketing activity, digital marketing, marketing automation, eCommerce and public relations. I am a Google partner and an expert in creating traditional and digital communications using the most modern techniques and software available including Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Business Catalyst for eCommerce and Hootsuite social media management.

Prepared marketing strategy and executed the marketing plan for SME clients including Vincent Finnegan Auctioneers, Smiths Building Supplies, Shampoo.ie, Paris Bakery, RugArt, Caterline and irishponies.ie. These marketing plans included attention grabbing advertising campaigns, responsive websites, direct marketing, publicity, radio and more.

Managed the sales and marketing function for Porsche cars in Ireland. Launched the new Cayenne 4X4, 911 997 Sports car and Panamera luxury GT.

Created and implemented the marketing plan for Belgard Motor Group, a multi-franchise passenger car and light commercial dealership in Dublin with annual sales in excess of 2,000 new cars per year. Brands included Audi, Mazda, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen.

Exertis (formerly Sharptext) is Ireland's leading distributor of IT and home entertainment and related products in Ireland. Brands include HP, IBM, Microsoft and Sony. As marketing manager I was responsible for all B2B communications between brands and resellers, preparing catalogues, websites and all sales and promotional literature.

Computer Publications Group, publishers of Irish Computer and ShelfLife magazines merged with Scope communications and events to become Media Team in 2005. During my time at CPG I was responsible for a team of over 20 executives delivering revenue targets for advertising and events in Ireland.
