Tom Wan is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the marketing, digital, and advertising industry.
He holds a BBS degree in Marketing/Information System from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and has also completed a program on Harnessing AI & Big Data: Analysis to Action at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Tom has held significant leadership roles, notably as the President of Customer Engagement, Commerce & MarTech at Ogilvy. Prior to that, he served as the CEO for China at IPG Mediabrands and UM Worldwide.
His career includes stints at renowned organizations such as WPP TEAM HUAWEI, where he was the Managing Partner for Global Digital Marketing, and at Ogilvy as the Managing Director for Global Brand Management. Additionally, he has experience as the Regional Head for TEAM PHILIPS and Managing Director at OgilvyOne Worldwide.
With a diverse career, Tom has also worked at Soho Square Digital (a WPP company) leading digital initiatives for TEAM PROCTER & GAMBLE, at Ogilvy & Mather as the Business Director for TEAM MOTOROLA, and at M&C Saatchi as a Group Account Director.
During his professional journey, he has gained valuable experience in roles such as Associate Director, Market Development Asia Pacific at 24/7 Media Asia - chinadotcom, Account Manager at Saatchi & Saatchi, Account Executive at McCann Erickson New York, and Media Planner at Wells Rich Greene BDDP.
