He is currently focused on revolutionizing the field of sequencing by introducing scalable, secure cloud-computing with an IoT appliance.

Tom Sheffler holds a PhD and MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Throughout his professional journey, he has held key roles at reputable organizations including Principal Software Architect at Roche, Software Architect at SightCall, Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at Sensr, and various engineering positions at Rambus Inc, NASA Ames, George Washington University, and MITRE Corp.
