Tom Prins
Head of Dealflow
Tom Prins is the Head of Dealflow at AquaSpark, a position he has held since February 2020. His career at AquaSpark began in October 2015 as a Dealflow Analyst, followed by a promotion to Dealflow Manager from February 2018 to January 2020. AquaSpark is an investment fund focused on sustainable aquaculture and fisheries, based in Utrecht, Netherlands.12
In addition to his role at AquaSpark, Prins serves on the board of HATCH and Molofeed AS, highlighting his active involvement in the aquaculture sector. He has also worked as a business development coordinator for aquaculture and fisheries in Oman and has experience in economic affairs through internships with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.1
Prins holds a Master’s Degree in Business Geography from Utrecht University and has received accolades such as the Marc de Smidt Thesis Prize for his research on aquaculture development in Oman.1
