Tom Lung
Senior Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health
Dr. Thomas Lung is a health economist and Senior Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health. He specializes in discrete-time simulation modelling, focusing on long-term health and economic outcomes of interventions targeting non-communicable diseases.34 His expertise includes developing health economic models for people with Type 1 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity, as well as cost-effectiveness analysis and analyses of large administratively linked health datasets.1
Dr. Lung is currently supported by a joint NHMRC/NHF early career fellowship.1 He leads the Economic Evaluation and Modelling research stream at The George Institute for Global Health.4 His work involves creating models for various health conditions and evaluating the economic impact of public health interventions.
