Tom Linnemann is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in retail, sales, and leadership roles.
Currently based in Toronto, Tom serves as the Vice President of US Sales, Target Team Lead at Spin Master, overseeing a team responsible for partnering with Target to market popular toys like Paw Patrol and Hatchimals across the United States.
In addition to his role at Spin Master, Tom is the co-executive sponsor of the Futurpreneur Program, a startup acceleration initiative in Canada.
Prior to his tenure in Canada, Tom worked in San Francisco as the Senior Director of Retail Sales at Kinsa, managing retail sales operations for innovative products like the world's first smart thermometer.
During his time in the Bay Area, Tom also provided guidance to RangeMe, a startup focused on transforming retail product discovery, which later saw a successful acquisition by ECRM in 2017.
Before his move to the West Coast, Tom held various executive positions at Target Corporation over 11 years, culminating in a role that saw him featured in a commercial for his sustainability efforts, making Target the first retailer to eliminate farmed salmon from its stores.
Tom's expertise lies in team building, merchandising strategies, vendor relations, driving sales in competitive retail landscapes, and fostering a positive work culture.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Saint John's University.
