Tom Aelbrecht

Tom Aelbrecht is the Senior Director, Operations at Johnson & Johnson Innovation

• JLABS EMEA. He oversees JLABS strategy in EMEA and operations in JLABS @ BE.

With a background in life sciences, Tom played a vital role in establishing the first JLABS outside North America at the Janssen Campus Office Belgium.

He was instrumental in setting up the Janssen Campus NL to enhance innovation in the Dutch ecosystem and to leverage Janssen's presence in Leiden.

Tom's extensive experience in these endeavors contributes to Johnson & Johnson Innovation

• JLABS' expansion in the EMEA region, ensuring successful integration and operation.

In addition to his role at JLABS, Tom holds specific responsibilities within Janssen Campus BE and Janssen Campus NL.

He also serves as a Member of the Janssen Pharmaceutica NV Management Board and Chair of the Works Council.

Tom represents Johnson & Johnson Innovation

• JLABS on the Benelux R&D Council and is a Board representative of Flanders.bio, a trade organization for life science companies.

He is a Member of the Investment Committee for Industrial Scale-ups at PMV, showcasing his commitment to fostering growth in the life science sector.
