Tom Hesketh is a customer-focused, highly empathetic, and creative problem solver with a passion for helping others. Currently part of the Campus Support Security department at Edge Hill University, where he goes beyond traditional security roles to provide first aid, mental health support, conflict resolution, and more.
With a background in retail and restaurants, Tom has held various customer-facing roles, starting from a Core Player at Netto UK and advancing to Team Leader. This progression instilled in him a deep love for supporting, helping, and teaching others, aiming to create positive interactions and experiences for everyone.
Tom is dedicated to continuous learning and personal development, currently pursuing an Institute of Leadership and Management level 5 qualification. He has also completed courses in manual handling, sexual violence response, and mental health support, showcasing his commitment to enhancing his skills and knowledge.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys pursuing his interests in photography, wildlife, video games, philosophy, nature, and playing the guitar. He values creativity, self-improvement, and relaxation in his personal life.
