I built an interactive, realtime football guessing game using React and Firebase.

Once signed up, users can place wagers on a team to score from a particular area of the pitch in the next 'X' minutes (where the user chooses X). I built a simple odds engine based on historical scoring distributions, goals per game and the odds of each result to reward users if they were correct.

Users can see the game clock, their wagers remaining time, and the leaderboard comparing them to other users in real time.

A simple notification system alerts users to important events.

Some don't have the support they need to do so effectively, or don't feel confident or comfortable in learning their entire syllabus by themselves.

That's why we wrote "Learn Better at Home: The Student Guide to Effective Self-Study".

The book aims to give students the tools to learn effectively at home in order to reduce the disparity in educational quality caused by Covid-19.
