Tom Fifield

Tom Fifield, an expert in large scale distributed infrastructure and open source software, is highly skilled in navigating cultural nuances to build and manage distributed teams. With an Honours degree in Software Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Tom's wealth of experience includes working on international projects, where he has successfully strategized large-scale cloud computing and OpenStack infrastructure. As a former Community Manager at OpenStack Foundation and Cloud Architect/Cloud Team Lead/Research Infrastructure Architect at NeCTAR, Tom has an extensive network of contacts and stories to share.
