Tom Engström

Tom Engström is a seasoned product designer and occasional front end developer with nearly a decade of experience. He is a co-founder at Timespace, focusing on creating well-being and future of work products.

Tom is passionate about leveraging visual design and storytelling to foster deeper connections among people. His goal is to enhance mutual understanding and bring more joy to the world through design and visual narratives. His interests span across design, user research, user experience, data visualization, and illustration. Outside of work, Tom enjoys creating first-person travelogue comic books, learning languages, and engaging in board and CRPG games.

Tom Engström's educational background includes a Master of Arts in New Media Design and Production from Aalto University, a Master of Arts in Media Design from Hongik University, a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Aalto University, and a Bachelor of Science in Media Technology from Aalto University.

In terms of his professional journey, Tom has held key roles such as Lead Designer and Co-Founder at Timespace Cloud Oy. He has also worked as a Graphic Designer Intern at Suunnittelutoimisto BOTH, operated as a Freelance designer and developer under Self-Employed, and served as a Creative Director at Nemesol Oy.
