Tom Corcoran is a seasoned professional with a solid background of over three decades in capital markets and financial services.
He is highly respected for his expertise in credit products and has successfully built and managed numerous global businesses, specializing in areas such as Investment Grade Corporates, Preferred Stock, High Yield, and Bank Loans.
During his tenure as Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, Tom demonstrated exceptional leadership by establishing and developing a specialized team of traders that generated significant revenue in Fixed Income products, leading to his appointment to the Fixed Income Operating Committee.
In 2009, he took on the challenge of creating and overseeing the fixed income trading department at CF Global before assuming the role of President at Imperial Capital in 2011, where he served for 8 years.
Tom's achievements at Imperial Capital included enhancing the firm's global fixed income capabilities and establishing its reputation as a leading boutique investment bank specializing in global credit products.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Tom has been actively engaged in the Harvard Schools and Scholarships Committee since 1986, notably serving as the Chair for Long Island for 15 years.
He has been dedicated to promoting equal opportunities in education and has also held the position of President at the Harvard Club of Long Island from 2008 to 2010.
As of January 2022, Tom has ventured into advising and mentoring veterans, contributing his expertise to support transitioning service members in entering the financial services industry.
