Tom Carchrae is a seasoned professional in the field of software development with nearly 20 years of experience. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with a research focus on machine learning, constraint logic, and optimization.

Having worked in various positions from CxO roles to backend development and team leadership, Tom has a proven track record of building production-quality code and leading development teams.

Currently, Tom divides his time between collaborating with companies on R&D projects and creating his own resource coordination technology. He specializes in combinatorial optimization, a skill that enables him to determine the best configurations given complex constraints and conflicting objectives.

With a preference for JavaScript and Java but adept in other languages like Ruby/Rails, C++, Haskell, and Prolog, Tom focuses on developing high-performance applications particularly for heavy computational tasks in the browser.
