Tom Black

Tom Black is a technologist based in the United States, with a background in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Information Systems Technician training from the U.S. Navy.

He has held various roles in prominent organizations such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Transformation Services, Skylight Digital LLC, 18F, and the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows.

Tom has experience as a software engineer, strategist, market development director, and in agency partnerships.

His career spans from being a Front-end Developer at Spreenkler Creative to holding positions as the Co-founder and CTO at ScioMD, Inc., and Technical Founder in Residence at Blueprint Health.

Tom Black has also served in the U.S. Navy, contributing his skills as an Information Systems Technician in various capacities, including with the US Navy Reserve and the Naval War College.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Tom is known for his interest in paramotoring and game development.
