Chief Operating Officer at Oaktree Capital Management
Todd Molz is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., a position he will officially assume in 2024. Molz graduated cum laude from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Alfred T. Goodwin at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and later became a partner at the law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, focusing on tax and structuring aspects of complex business transactions.123
Leadership Role
As COO, Molz will oversee the day-to-day operations of Oaktree, with all non-investment functions reporting to him.
