My role with ECS was in a coordination position on the Shore Excursions team in Bergen (on the western coast of Norway). During the busy season I assisted in the planning, execution and coordination of excursion activities, meeting ships in port 1-5x in a week. 

On any given day, I worked with: tour guides, transportation providers, the ships' shore excursions teams, harbour masters, local suppliers as well as with the guests themselves. The fast-paced, often high-stress environment also saw me switching between 2-3 languages daily, a big challenge I happily accepted. The off-season entailed extensive planning for the upcoming year(s), in addition to addressing accounting and feedback from the previous season.

European Cruise Service(ECS) is on track to becoming the largest cruise service company in Northern Europe and caters to shore excursions, ships agency as well as ground handling operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the UK & Ireland.

As a Database Manager in the marketing department for one of Pegasus's brands, I worked to create and maintain customer databases. During my time at Pegasus Group, I was also asked to aid in the planning and proofing of marketing materials. Furthermore, I managed and analyzed data for focused marketing efforts in order to boost sales. I held this position throughout the majority of my post-secondary education.
