Timothy Nelson is a seasoned professional with a passion for developing strategic responses to complex international security issues.
With a rich educational background, Timothy holds a M.Phil. in Russian and East European Studies from St. Antony's College, Oxford University, a BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California, and has studied Russian at St. Petersburg State University as well as Near and Middle Eastern Studies at The Hebrew University.
Timothy has worked in various roles within the U.S. Department of State, including as a Political Officer in the Russian Affairs Office, U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv, NATO Policy Desk Officer, U.S. Embassy Bucharest, and U.S. Consulate General Toronto. He has also gained experience outside of government service as a Hotel Reviewer at Bare Associates International and an Events Coordinator at the Pacific Council on International Policy.
