Timothy Langer

Timothy Langer is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with a strong background in cell therapy and product sciences.

He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and received education at The Thacher School.

Currently, Timothy Langer holds the position of Senior Vice President of Cell Therapy at Turnstone Biologics, a company focused on innovative TIL therapy for solid tumors.

His previous roles include being the CEO at Myst Therapeutics, a consultant at Third Rock Ventures and Neurona Therapeutics, and holding various positions at Kite Pharma, including Director, Associate Director, Principal Engineer, and Senior Engineer in Product Sciences.

His vast experience also includes roles at Sapphire Energy, Pria Diagnostics, and UCSF as a Research/Development Engineer and Research Associate.

Timothy Langer's expertise lies in advancing TIL therapy, cell sorting, and cell rejuvenation to develop enriched T cell therapies for a wide range of solid tumors, particularly in low mutational burden cancer indications.
