Timothy Jordan

Timothy Jordan is a seasoned professional with a diverse background encompassing engineering, storytelling, and developer relations. He is known for his ability to merge technology and narrative to inform and inspire tech enthusiasts worldwide. Currently, Timothy serves as a group Developer Relations manager at Google, overseeing the growth of new DevRel teams such as Firebase, Machine Learning, and Flutter. His role focuses on enhancing developer success through Google APIs, services, and tools. With a rich history at Google, Timothy has led various advocacy initiatives, including those for Android Wear, Google Glass, and Android TV, among others. Prior to his current position, he held roles in Scalable Developer Advocacy and Ubiquitous Computing Developer Advocacy at Google. Beyond Google, Timothy has shared his knowledge as an instructor at multiple prestigious institutions, covering broadcasting, theater, engineering, and new media. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering, a graduate degree in Theater Arts, and an M.F.A. in Digital Arts and New Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
