Timothy Abbott
Timothy Abbott is a driven and passionate bioengineering PhD candidate at Stanford University. Mr. Abbott's focus is on utilizing CRISPR-Cas9 for genome engineering and other therapeutic purposes, using CRISPR as a tool for uncovering unique biology, and researching and discovering new ways to better understand and treat human diseases. Mr. Abbott received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Bioengineering from Stanford University. In addition to his studies, Mr. Abbott has worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, an Intern at Genentech, a Research Assistant at Cornell University's Lucks Lab, and a Printing Services Desk Operator at Cornell University's Mann Library.
