Tim Wright

Digital Writer & Multiplatform Producer

Tim Wright is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the media and digital industries. He started his career as a journalist and editor for various national newspapers and magazines. In 1995, he became one of the three Managing Partners of NoHo Digital, one of the UK's most successful independent digital agencies of the 1990s.

Tim is an award-winning writer and producer of original interactive content, and a true pioneer of online storytelling. He co-founded the digital entertainment company XPT and co-devised and wrote the ground-breaking interactive drama ‘Online Caroline’. Since then, he has continued to experiment with storytelling, interactivity, and the web, winning awards for projects such as ‘In Search of Oldton’, ‘The Telectroscope’, and ‘Kidmapped!’.

Over the years, Tim has developed cross-platform content and strategy for major brands and broadcasters, across all platforms: TV, Film, Radio, Web, Mobile, Live Performance, and Print, and across all genres: News, Documentary, Entertainment, Education, Children's, Games, Advertising.

He has worked with big media and cultural organizations such as the BBC, CBBC, Channel 4, 4iP, The Science Museum, The RSC, Royal Opera House, Orange, and Sony. He currently teaches at NFTS and was part of the team that set up The National Centre for Immersive Storytelling.
