Tim Vandecasteele

Tim Vandecasteele is a co-founder at Silverfin, a cloud-based financial platform that automates accounting tasks for small and medium-sized enterprises. Tim has a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universiteit Gent and studied Mathematics and Science at Sint-Jozefsinstituut-College Torhout.

Before co-founding Silverfin, Tim worked as a Ruby on Rails developer at Vasco Data Security and held several software leadership positions at Philips, including Software Cluster Leader and Software Project Manager for User Experience.

Tim is also the former President and Party President at VTK, a Belgian engineering student union.

With a strong background in software engineering, product integration, and user experience, Tim brings a wealth of expertise to Silverfin. He is passionate about helping businesses streamline their accounting processes and enjoys supporting the next generation of engineers through his involvement with VTK.
