Tim van Elst

Tim van Elst is a dedicated individual with a strong educational background. He studied at Leiden University, National Cheng Kung University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Currently, Tim is a PhD candidate at the Department of Endocrinology & Metabolism at Amsterdam UMC. Previously, he served as a resident in internal medicine at Amsterdam UMC and Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (HMC), a medical doctor at St Elisabeth Hospital, and an executive board member at EuroSurg.

Tim's diverse professional experience includes roles such as clinical intern at various prestigious institutions including Heidelberg University, Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford, Peking University, and Harvard Medical School's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Additionally, he has been part of healthcare leadership programs and international campaigns in the field of health and tropical medicine. Tim has also been involved in teaching and research, having experience as a student teaching assistant in clinical epidemiology and anatomy, as well as conducting research in infectious diseases and translational medicine.
