Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in the Origination, Underwriting, Audit/Compliance review, Retail/Correspondent/Wholesale Operations, Fraud Analysis, and operational leadership positions. A graduate of Wofford College where he majored in History and minored in Military Science, and Cooke Real Estate School; Tim has completed several mortgage underwriting courses and is DE/CHUMS and SAR/LAPP designated for Underwriting roles.

Tim's skillset includes extensive manual underwriting of VA, FHA, USDA, and Conventional files and he possesses an open and flexible mental template, allowing confidence in multiple investor overlay review and decisions resulting in a high approval/low pend ratio. He also has superior appraisal analysis capabilities.

Over the years, Tim has worked in various organizations, including Cornerstone Home Lending f/k/a Gateway Bank Mortgage, Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. RALEIGH Branch, Prime Mortgage Lending and more, where his responsibilities included Underwriting and leading teams to improve production, motivates personnel through team-building and open positivity. He recently worked as an Account Mortgage Underwriter III at Accounting Principals/SunTrust and as a Home Preservation Underwriter/Negotiator at Aerotek Professional Services/Wells Fargo.

Tim's most recent experience is in Encompass, a Loan Origination Software (LOS) and he has access to LP & DO AUS systems, AllRegs, Corelogic/Loansafe, etc. remotely from his home office. His preference is IT remotes in and installs the necessary tools your company requires to his desktop or your shipped desktop in conjunction to his dual-large screens.
