Tim Rueth is an experienced private investor, C-level executive, and advisor/consultant to startups and universities in the area of technology commercialization. With expertise in technology assessments, business creation/development, fund-raising, due diligence, and private company investment, he has served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels. Tim's most recent operating role was as President and CEO of Rhevision Technology, which he co-founded with a UC San Diego professor and raised angel and VC money. Currently, he is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UC San Diego's Office of Innovation and Commercialization and serves on the Selection Committee of EvoNexus, a San Diego high-tech start-up incubator, and is a Catalyst at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). Additionally, he is an advisor to several high-tech start-ups including one public company. Tim has vast experience in start-up business strategy, presentation, and fund-raising, and has critiqued well over 1000 executive summaries and presentations. He has invested in numerous start-ups over the past 18+ years and has deep technical and engineering expertise. His specialties include technology commercialization, investment due diligence, coaching entrepreneurs, high-tech company formation, fund-raising, business strategy and presentation, private and public investment, corporate management, and governance.
