iOS Engineer at Instagram. Perth Aussie living in Japan.

Tim Oliver is a highly motivated software engineer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Digital Media from Edith Cowan University in 2006.

He started his career in web development, working on both backend and frontend for government institutions in Perth, Australia, from mid-2007 to 2012.

In 2013, he transitioned to iOS software development, joining the iOS software team at pixiv Inc. in Tokyo, Japan.

Tim later worked on developing iOS and Android software for corporate clients at Lateral Pty Ltd. in Australia and joined Realm Inc. as an engineer for Cocoa and Cocoa Touch products.

In 2018, he moved back to Japan, working as an iOS software engineer at Mercari Inc., before transitioning to game development at ppy Pty Ltd. at the beginning of 2020.

In August 2020, he took on the role of Senior iOS Software Engineer at Drivemode and also founded his own company in December of the same year.

Tim Oliver is known for his passion for software development and crafting great user experiences, actively engaging in the global mobile software community through presentations at conferences and meet-up events.

In his free time, he contributes to open source projects, plays video games, and enjoys karaoke.
