Tim Nilson is an accomplished entrepreneur in technology, media, and entertainment. He made inroads in digital music distribution while at N2K in New York and co-founded Run Media and Run Tones, subsequently selling them to Sony Music in 2002. Over a decade later, Nilson formed GetFPV and Lumenier, industry-leading companies in commercial drone and consumer FPV. NASA, the Discovery Channel, NBC Sports, and many other professional media companies use Lumenier’s airframes.
Nilson graduated from Berklee College of Music and received "Distinguished Alumni" honors and has served on the board of trustees.
Aside from his accomplishments in the industry, Nilson has held numerous roles at Sony Music Entertainment including SVP of Direct to Consumer Technology and Operations, CTO of Direct To Consumer, and SVP of D2C Technology and Operations.
