Tim Huntzinger is an accomplished professional with a background in industrial and transportation design, currently serving as an instructor at ArtCenter College of Design in the Graduate Transportation Design Department.
With a strong focus on aerospace and transportation, Tim has also led projects in augmented reality and wearable product design, collaborating with renowned companies such as Boeing Commercial Airplanes, General Motors, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and LEGO.
Having obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Design-Transportation from Art Center College of Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Design from Brigham Young University, Tim holds a diverse portfolio of designs ranging from furniture and yachts to Mars and Lunar rovers, advanced airplane concepts, and space architecture.
Throughout his career, Tim has accumulated valuable experience in various leadership roles, including Lead Vehicle Designer at Flyer EVTOL, Lead Product Designer at DAQRI, and Product Design & User Experience Lead at Rivian Automotive, among others.
His professional journey also includes contributions as President at Zuumcraft Inc., Design Manager at The Design Academy Inc., and Principal at Huntzinger Design Lab, LLC. Tim's innovative work has garnered several patents for electric vehicle technologies.
