In my current role, I wear multiple hats as a Senior Developer, Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). I oversee the technological strategy and infrastructure of the organization, ensuring that our systems are not only robust and scalable but also align with our long-term business objectives. I manage our internal and external developers to keep projects moving forward.

As a Senior Developer, I remain hands-on with coding, system architecture, and the development of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and growth. My deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of the business enables me to bridge the gap between technology and business needs, making informed decisions that propel the organization forward.

In addition to my primary responsibilities, I also consult on various high-impact projects across industries, leveraging my expertise to provide strategic insights and solutions. Due to the nature of these engagements, I am unable to disclose specifics, but these projects allow me to apply my experience in new and challenging environments, ensuring that I stay at the cutting edge of technology and innovation.

I created our financial investment platform beginning in 2009 and have been growing it ever since. We have added major improvements every year. Our platform launched as SilverSaver.com in late 2009 before being rebranded in October, 2015.

I am hands-on with coding, system architecture, and the development of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and growth. I am responsible for setting the tone, tools, and tempo for the team of developers who report to me. During this period, I built and led a business focused on delivering high-quality software solutions with a team of seasoned developers. We operated as a cohesive team, each member bringing a minimum of a decade of professional software development experience. Together, we served hundreds of clients across the United States and globally, handling projects that ranged from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands. Our services encompassed web site design and implementation, software engineering, project scoping, database consulting, as well as business consulting, and more, consistently delivering superior results for our diverse clientele.

I co-founded Sunflower Road Internet Services with my father, taking on the sole responsibility of running the company. We began by reselling dial-up accounts across the Kansas City metro area, quickly establishing a reputation for reliable service and customer support.

As the company grew, I transitioned into physical network design, construction, and installation. I led a team of technicians on several large-scale networking projects, ensuring that every detail—from planning to execution—was handled with precision. The largest project I managed involved a 150-drop network installation in a 60,000-square-foot warehouse with office space, encompassing telephone, security, and phone systems. This experience allowed me to develop and refine my skills in project management, team leadership, and complex network installations.

In addition to my networking responsibilities, I also took on a significant project for Helzberg Diamonds, where I built a 6,000-page intranet. This massive undertaking required a deep understanding of both the technical and organizational needs of the client, resulting in a comprehensive and user-friendly internal platform.

Through these experiences, I developed a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, team management, and client-focused solutions, which continue to inform my approach to technology and business today.

In this role, I honed my leadership skills, learned to handle complex situations, and developed a keen understanding of how to balance customer satisfaction with business needs. My experience as a Shift Manager provided valuable insights into team management and operational efficiency, which continue to influence my professional approach today.

After a year of hard work and dedication, I was promoted to Crew Trainer. In this role, I took on the responsibility of training new team members, ensuring they understood and adhered to McDonald’s high standards for service, quality, and operational procedures. I enjoyed mentoring new employees and helping them develop the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, I was responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, order taking, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers. My time as a Crew Member laid the foundation for my growth within the company.
