The position of Chief Data Officer is new to EverBank and recognizes the criticality of growing and developing the data assets to support EverBank’s increasingly sophisticated marketing, analytic and operational needs. 
 
The Chief Data Officer (CDO) role is responsible for:
·       Vision and strategy for all data management activities
·       Champion & leader for enterprise data management, governance and data quality 
·       Data distribution and use of data across the enterprise to ensure compliance
·       Establishes data policies, standards, organization and enforcement of IM concepts

Accountable for leading all aspects of Information Technology, Systems, Platforms, and Infrastructure for US Assure Inc., a $250MM in managed premium and $600MM in servicing national insurance brokerage and program administrator with 30,000 distributors across the US and Canada.  Accountable for strategy and architecture development, budgeting, talent management, vendor and partner relations, and the development and support of all applications, platforms, network telephony infrastructure and Disaster Recovery.  Served as a Change Agent, migrating the company from outdated systems and processes to cutting edge technology.

• Led development of 2 year $42MM program with a team of 160, including technical leads, designers, developers, data movement analysts, logical / physical modelers, and testers
• Managed multi-million dollar statements of work with vendor and consultant partners
• Performed on-sight assessments of potential Mexican partnerships focusing on data environments and their ability to support Capital One’s Information Based Strategy methodology in regards to global product insights, data mining, direct marketing, and credit risk management

• UK & Canada Card Business Startups:  Led infrastructure development for prospecting, modeling, soliciting, account management, and risk based pricing strategies for UK & Canada businesses; partnered with Bank of Scotland and Canada Trust in managing account base and implementing information based strategies and converting data from existing structures into new DSS platforms
• Marketing & Analysis Risk Management:  Accountable for model scoring updates, Secured Card deposit process, pre-collections risk streaming, random number generation for account base, NPV analysis process support, and managed portfolio asset securitization process for securing capital; Performed on sight assessments of FDR, TSYS, and CAMS billing systems and their ability to support Capital One’s IBS methodology
