    Tilli Tansey

    Honorary Professor at Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology,UCL

    Tilli Tansey is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in medical history, pharmacology, and neuroscience.

    She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from University College London on 'The early scientific career of Sir Henry Dale FRS' and another PhD from The University of Sheffield focused on 'A histochemical study of the cephalopod brain.'

    Tilli Tansey also completed her BSc in Zoology with First Class Honours at The University of Sheffield.

    She has held various prestigious positions including Emeritus Professor of Medical History and Pharmacology at William Harvey Research Institute, Barts&The London, QMUL.

    Furthermore, she has served as an Honorary Professor at the Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology at UCL.

    In the past, she has been a Professor of the History of Modern Medical Sciences at both Queen Mary, University of London, and University College London.

    Prior to these roles, Tilli Tansey held the position of Reader in History of Modern Medical Sciences at UCL and worked as a Historian of Modern Medical Science at The Wellcome Trust.

    Her experience also includes being a Research Fellow at The Wellcome Trust, a Multiple Sclerosis Society Research Fellow at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, and a Research Officer at the Medical Research Council.

    Additionally, she has contributed to academia as an Editor of the Biomedical Information Service at the University of Sheffield.
