Tilak Gupta is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, and Structural Biology.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, and Structural Biology from the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Munich, as well as another PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from the Technical University of Munich.
Prior to his PhDs, Tilak completed a Master's degree in Biotechnology with 'cum laude' honors at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Chemistry from D.A.V. College in Kanpur.
Throughout his career, Tilak Gupta has held various key roles in different organizations, including serving as a Field Applications Specialist in Centrifugation for Europe at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences.
He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and been an Invited Delegate to the World Science Forum in 2019.
In addition, Tilak has been actively involved in various initiatives such as being a Co-founder of www.futurebiotechnologists.com and organizing additional skill courses at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry.
His experience also includes co-organizing events such as Interact Munich - 2015 and 'GeneRations 2012' during his tenure at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
He has a history of academic accomplishments, having served as a Junior Research Fellow at IIT Bombay and undertaken Summer Internships at institutions like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Parag Dairy.
