Tijana Dabic is a dedicated professional with a passion for promoting entrepreneurial approaches to economic and civic engagement.
As the co-owner of Making Cents International, Tijana leads business development efforts with an impressive eighteen years of experience in strategic planning and securing new business opportunities.
She has been instrumental in acquiring $1.7 billion in new funding from various entities including US Government agencies, foundations, corporations, and international donors.
Additionally, Tijana serves as an advisor at Studio X Ventures, a micro venture fund focusing on connecting early-stage startups from Serbia and the Western Balkans to the US market through seed capital, business support, and leadership training.
Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Political Management from The George Washington University, a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Belgrade, and studies in kulturolosko-jezicki smer at Peta Beogradska Gimnazija.
Throughout her career, Tijana has held key positions such as Director of New Business and formerly Director of Proposal Management at Making Cents International, as well as various roles at International Relief and Development (IRD) including Proposal Manager and Program Officer.
Her professional journey also includes roles as a Research Intern at the Cato Institute, a Fellow in the Central and Eastern European Internship Program at Freedom House/National Forum Foundation, and Legal Associate and Law Clerk at the District Court of Belgrade, Serbia.
