Tiffany Richards is the LGBTQ+ Affairs program director at the University of Florida.1 She also serves as co-chair of Queer Nation and is a member of the Presidential LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee (LPAC) at UF.1 Richards is an educator and advocate with over a decade of training and advocacy experience in the US and abroad.2
In her role, Richards works to foster a sense of community and belonging for LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students at UF. She is involved in various initiatives, including:
- Organizing LGBTQ+ History Month events
- Developing the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Gators training course
- Promoting visibility and support for the LGBTQ+ community on campus
Richards emphasizes the importance of creating an inclusive environment, stating, "We want to make sure that folks know that, regardless of where they are on campus, they have a community they can rely on".1
