Thong Nguyen

Thong Nguyen is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in multiple fields of Manufacturing & Building Services. With a strong engineering background in Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance, Manufacturing & Building System Engineering, and Environment/Occupational Health & Safety (E.OH.S), Thong has worked in different industries such as beverages, consumer goods, building materials, furniture, and facility management. He has also been involved in vocational education and technical training. Thong has worked for US and multinational companies, both domestically and overseas.

Thong graduated from the University of Technical Education HCMC with a BS in Industrial Engineering-Mechanical Department. He is skilled in project/construction management, technical training, and environmental/social management systems (ESMS). He has a passion for tennis, travel, reading, networking, and high technologies and physical sciences.

Thong's past positions include Engineering Manager at Tin Nghia Coffee, Environment & Social Manager, EHS Manager, and Cold Chain Manager at Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage and Nestle Waters, respectively. He has also served as Facilities Manager at Cognita Schools and HSE Manager at Unilever and Boral Construction Materials. Thong's experience also includes working as a Professional Freelancer, Supervisor, Project Manager, Electrical Trainer, and Senior Project Engineer in various companies.
